Context
Development of a comprehensive industrial telemetry solution for Flex-N-Gate automotive manufacturing plants, capturing, processing, and displaying performance data for heavy machinery and continuous assembly lines.
User-Centered Design (UX)
The platform was designed to bridge the industrial operational world with a clean and accessible web interface:
- Main Dashboard: Creation of a control panel with clear visual hierarchy, allowing supervisors to identify bottlenecks at a glance.
- Data Visualization: Implementation of dynamic charts and color-coded alerts that translate thousands of events per second into actionable information.
- Interaction Flow: Redesign of the monitoring process, reducing friction and minimizing the number of clicks required to access critical production reports.
Technical Challenges
- Massive Data Rendering: Implementation of DOM virtualization and WebGL techniques to paint thousands of real-time telemetry data points without blocking the browser’s Main Thread.
- Adaptive Dashboard Design: Creation of a fluid widget system using CSS Grid and Tailwind, allowing operators to customize their workspace according to operational priorities while maintaining visual cohesion.
